Calle Feria 28 is a typical Spanish family apartment, with 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen and comfortable lounge with TV
and DVD. It has a terrace at the back, which looks onto the Lijar mountain. You will be surrounded by swifts catching insects
on the wing, and you will also see the rare Griffon vultures which glide effortlessly from their roosts on the side of the
mountain.
Upstairs is a space that can be used as an artist's studio, and a large sun terrace. The kitchen has everything you will
need and there is a washing machine in a scullery accessed from the tiled kitchen balcony.
No. 28 is a stone's throw from the main plaza in Algodonales, where townfolk sit out in the evening shooting the breeze
with their neighbours. The plaza which is lined with restaurants and bars which offer good, inexpensive fare. Algo is not a
tourist trap, and you will be surprised at how little you will spend on a meal here. While no more than 2 minutes walk to
the main square, Calle Feria is remarkably quiet. In the same street is JJ's bar, run by Johanne and Jacqueline. It is the
watering hole of the paragliding community and boasts a pool table and a large screen TV especially installed for the world
cup. The bar stays open as long as the customers are interesting! Generally things quieten down around 11.30 in Algo.
